Aphrodite makes the following points:
She mentions Tom Mesereau wanted to prove that the Arviso children were out of control at the Neverland estate.
The prosecution case was the Michael provided the children to enable the sexual abuse.
Aphrodite mentions the following points highlighted by Tom:
- that the kids broke into the wine cellar
- they were caught drinking alcohol
- confirmed that Michael Jackson was not present and had no knowledge of their activities
- the kids have broken into the refrigerator
- drinking alcohol in the kitchen and taking alcohol from a cupboard
This section generally sets out how the defence wanted to deal with the evidence and what they intended to prove.
She abruptly departs and spoils the commentary stating that on the first day of testimony that she thought that Michael dressed like “a military general, wearing gold armbands, a red vest, and a jacket with gold trim..”. Michael was well dressed throughout the trial, and there was no necessity for Aphrodite to make this comment.
She then states that “… his wire-rimmed glasses making him seem much more serious and adultlike that ever before.” Michael wore glasses publically for a number of years this was not a stage prop. Michael was an adult and could of course be serious. This comment is an indication of Aphrodite’s views about Michael Jackson.
She states that the media would pick on obscure things about Michael and I suggest that Aphrodite is doing exactly the same thing.
Aphrodite comments on the media’s view of Michael’s skin condition, vitiligo, but during her live radio show in 2010, she admitted that she did not believe he had a condition and it was only after speaking to Tom did he convince her that he had a legitimate skin condition.
