Michael Jackson Conspiracy: Chapter 3 ~ “Shake It, Shake It, Baby”

Aphrodite said that everyone was waiting for Michael to do something crazy, she uses the example of dancing on his SUV. She obviously is making clear her view of Michael climbing on his SUV  after the arraignment hearing on  16th January 2004.  A bit of a cheap shot.

This is the scene

I note that Aphrodite does not mention Michael’s statement on 30th January 2005. Why?

Trial statement 2005

Statement of Mr. Michael Jackson:
January 30, 2005

taken from his official website www.mjjsource.com

“In the last few weeks, a large amount of ugly, malicious information has been released into the media about me.

Apparently, this information was leaked through transcripts in a grand jury proceeding where neither my lawyers, nor I, ever appeared. The information is disgusting and false.

Years ago, I allowed a family to visit and spend some time at Neverland.

Neverland is my home. I allowed this family into my home because they told me their son was ill with cancer and needed my help. Through the years, I have helped thousands of children who were ill or in distress.

These events have caused a nightmare for my family, my children and me. I never intend to place myself in so vulnerable a position again.

I love my community and I have great faith in our justice system. Please keep an open mind and let me have my day in court. I deserve a fair trial like every other American citizen. I will be acquitted and vindicated when the truth is told.”

My life is a nightmare, says Michael Jackson

SANTA MARIA, Jan 30: Pop superstar Michael Jackson expressed certainty he would be found innocent of child molestation at his trial that starts on Monday, but said he is now going through “a nightmare”.

He angrily dismissed accusations leaked from grand jury sessions in which his now 15-year-old accuser told in graphic detail how the entertainer allegedly fondled him and plied him with alcohol.

“In the last few weeks, a large amount of ugly, malicious information has been released into the media about me,” Jackson said in a brief videotaped statement he released on his website on Sunday.

“Apparently, this information was leaked through transcripts in a grand jury proceeding where neither my lawyers, nor I, ever appeared. The information is disgusting and false,” said Jackson, who was wearing a bright blue shirt.

“I love my community and I have great faith in our justice system. Please keep an open mind and let me have my day in court. I deserve a fair trial like every other American citizen. I will be acquitted and vindicated when the truth is told.”

He pointed out that in 2003 he had invited the then 13-year-old cancer stricken boy and his family to his amusement park home near the small city of Santa Maria where the trial gets under way on Monday.

“I allowed this family into my home because they told me their son was ill with cancer and needed my help. Through the years, I have helped thousands of children who were ill or in distress.”

She mentions the efforts made CNN to achieve a birdseye view of the “Jackson spectacle”. I wonder what about Michael was the spectacle? The mere fact that he was attending court? Or should this comment be directed at the attending media and not Michael? I think so.

This ABC video states that the scene outside the court was calm on 31st January 2005, so what is Aphrodite talking about this. Is she hyping up the situation and expecting us to accept this?

Michael looked sharp and  confident on 31st January 2005. The following YT video states that there were 3 days Michael wore white suits. (It is reported that Michael’s website asked that his supporters attend court in white to reflect his innocence. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2005/jan/31/usa.michaeljacksontrial)

By popular demand, photos of Michael wearing white suits to court. Photos are from three different occasions, in no particular order. Enjoy!

MJ`s first day at court

Things look pretty organised outside the court.

Aphrodite states that some of the media were disappointed that Michael was “well mannered, calm, and relaxed…”  Michael always seems well-mannered, calm and relaxed.

Comments about the jury selection process:

http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/LegalCenter/story?id=438095&page=1

This video http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=9413630  states:  that the area has a conservative  jury pool that would not be the choice of the defence

Aphrodite then  suggested that if the potential jurist “thought they might catch a glimpse of one of his motorized robot dances, they were not going to witness that here”. Why she would even think that,  given the seriousness of jury selection.

She then said that people were looking at Michael Jackson to see “if he was real“. Strange comment. Speculation.

She states that the selected jurist were “stacked in the in [prosecution's] favour”.

The demographic of the Santa Maria population were many caucasian and latino, and she states that it was unlikely that an african america person would be a jurist.

What is interesting is that she states that Tom Mesereau, did some very practical research about the views of the Santa Maria population. He visited the bars and restaurants in casual clothes
